Suppose, just suppose, that there is a Creator, he made this place and he makes the rules. Would that change your lifestyle at all? Suppose the Creator gave us a book, called the Bible, that said you should love and treasure him more than anything else in the world. And suppose that book gave instructions for you on how to live well, things to avoid (adultery, lying, cheating, stealing and so on). What if the book said that our reaction to Jesus is literally a matter of life or death? Would any of this get your attention?

You may say that you are a good person ... Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever stolen something? So, you are a lying thief ...

Maybe you think that your "good works" outweigh your "bad stuff", well, God won't send you to Hell because of your good works, it will be because of the bad stuff. Shockingly, it’s not about being a good enough person, it’s all about whether you love God, which means whether or not you love Jesus.
